Is ChatMonJA free?
Yes. The current preview release is free.
Why does macOS say the app is unsigned?
The current preview builds are not code-signed yet. Right-click ChatMonJA and choose Open to launch it.
Why does Windows SmartScreen appear?
SmartScreen may warn about unsigned software. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
Does ChatMonJA store my Twitch password?
No. Authentication uses Twitch’s device login flow in your web browser. ChatMonJA never sees or stores your Twitch password.
Does ChatMonJA send my data to your servers?
No. ChatMonJA has no developer-operated data server. Settings and backups remain on your computer. Twitch login and chat traffic go directly to Twitch.
Does the bot start automatically?
Yes. After you are logged in, ChatMonJA automatically joins your channel and activates the bot when the app starts.
Can I create my own chat commands?
Yes. Add, edit, disable, or delete custom commands and choose whether everyone, moderators, or the broadcaster can use each one. The default !list command shows the commands available in chat.
